The Teatro del Barrio is a Spanish cultural and theatrical venue located in Lavapiés.
It opened in December 2013 and is known as an artistic, political, and cultural platform. Its focus is on using theater as a tool for social transformation and on fostering citizen participation in contemporary cultural and political changes.
In September 2024, it was awarded the National Theater Prize in recognition of its work in the cultural scene and its social commitment.
