Hey, parents!

In this week’s edition, we’ve got some open-air movie recommendations, a Cervantes-inspired puppet show, a musical puppet show from another galaxy, several concerts, a storytelling and workshop about the 3 Rs, a theatrical performance for babies, a family workshop at the Railway Museum, a play about the transition from childhood to adulthood, a workshop to create your own board game, an activity to discover butterflies, and a family gardening experience.

Forward this and break the indecision loop

Not your average water fight

One of Madrid’s wildest summer traditions is back! The Batalla Naval transforms Vallecas into a massive water fight where everyone joins in. Bring your water guns, buckets, and lots of enthusiasm… And get ready to get soaked.

A different way to see the museum

This summer, experience the Thyssen after dark! Every Saturday from 9 to 11 pm, the museum is free, making it the perfect opportunity to introduce your kids to art before ending the evening with an ice cream.

A free space for all ages

Need a break from the summer heat? Head to Juegatorio at La Casa Encendida, a free board game space where families can borrow games (or bring their own) and spend hours playing everything from classics to modern favorites together.

Outdoor movies across Madrid

What better way to spend a warm summer evening than watching a movie under the stars? Many people don’t realize that every district hosts its own free outdoor movie screenings. Chances are there’s one happening in your neighborhood. Have you been yet? If not, now’s the perfect time to check the schedule and plan a movie night.

A nighttime sky full of stars

This summer, families can explore the wonders of the night sky through a series of astronomy-themed events. Blending science, art, and history, these hands-on experiences spark curiosity, creativity, and imagination through fun challenges and interactive activities. They’re educational, entertaining, and unlike anything else on the summer calendar.

Wishing you a weekend that makes Monday jealous.
