The Sound of Music

Austria, 1938. Maria is a cheerful novice who leaves the convent to become the governess of the seven children of a retired military officer, Captain von Trapp, who has recently been widowed. The von Trapp household is run like a military barracks, but Maria manages to bring joy back into the children’s lives and earn their respect and affection.
