Cineteca Madrid

Cineteca Madrid, located in the Matadero Madrid cultural complex, is Spain’s first and only cinema dedicated exclusively to non-fiction, documentary, and alternative films. Opened in 2011 in a refurbished former slaughterhouse, it features three distinct, architecturally unique screening rooms (Azcona, Borau, Plató) specializing in independent cinema, festivals, and specialized programming.
