Hey, parents!

In this week’s edition, we’ve got shadow and puppet theater, a concert in the park with songs in English, a storytelling session for babies, a movie about a hamster cowboy, a sun observation workshop with an expert, a body percussion activity, a flamenco and urban dance performance, an improv workshop for pre-teens, an excavation workshop, a scavenger hunt, and an Irish festival with dancing, music, and gaelic classes, and much more.

Don’t gatekeep this, your WhatsApp group deserves it.

Where science meets art

This performance transports the audience back to the the time that our universe came into being, using a fictional world created by repurposing electronic devices.

Not your average concert

This unique activity, in which the audience will participate heavily, features a piano performance and incorporates other art forms, such as painting and dance.

A gentle and beautiful film

This is one of Studio Ghibli’s less known films, about a Japanese woman who recounts her childhood when she returns to her hometown in the countryside.

Get offline with your family

The Offline Club is hosting a Reading Rave this weekend! Grab your kids, grab their favorite books, and head to Retiro for a giant gathering of people… reading together. Put your phone away and spend some quality time with the people you love, outside, reading books!

A market you won’t want to miss

Travel back to the 19th century at this market, a period event featuring tons of entertainment, children’s games, and a curated selection of craft and food stalls inspired by the Goya era. There will be tributes, reenactments, parades, performances, and much more for the whole family!

Wishing you a weekend of fun, fresh air, and minimal sibling negotiations.

Don’t forget to share the newsletter and help (me! and) another parent out.

See you next week… same time, same inbox.
