SUMMARY:Ópticas del bosque
DESCRIPTION:In the Vertical Forest\, plants are no longer at our feet but right in front of us. \nThis shift in position gives us the opportunity to experiment with different viewpoints\, to play with perspectives and ways of seeing that differ from the human perspective. \nThat’s why\, in this workshop\, we’ll explore new ways of relating to other living beings and discover what the world looks like through other eyes. What if those eyes belonged to an insect? How would it see us? \nThe activity will take place in front of the Vertical Forest\, a 535-square-meter space that is home to a dozen large trees and nearly 20\,000 plants representing more than 100 different species. It is a unique space where nature and art become inseparable elements.

SUMMARY:Miradas ordenadas
DESCRIPTION:Nature is order\, but it is also disorder. Playing with that idea\, we will reflect on the Vertical Forest at different scales. \nIs there any order in a landscape\, or is there a reason for it to be that way? What about a garden? Why is one design chosen over another? Where is there order and disorder? Are all leaves the same? Are they symmetrical? What about their cells? Does a garden contain only the species that were initially introduced? Are there animals? What role do they play? What will the gardens of the future be like? \nIn this activity\, we’ll engage in participatory and experimental activities to try to answer all these questions—and any others that may arise during the activity. Using dichotomous keys\, magnifying glasses\, microscopes\, field notebooks\, and design journals\, you’ll discover all the secrets hidden in this unique Vertical Forest.

SUMMARY:Orejas de mariposa
DESCRIPTION:This musical is a call for freedom\, diversity\, acceptance\, and difference. \nIt addresses topics that are so important for children\, such as being happy while being different\, not wanting to be like everyone else\, and accepting everyone for their differences—and even valuing them. \nA lack of inclusion and acceptance often leads to dissatisfaction and insecurity\, and we simply have to make a decision and take a risk\, looking both within and outside ourselves to find happiness. \n

SUMMARY:El Pequeño Conejo Blanco
DESCRIPTION:The little ones will have a blast at *The Little White Rabbit* at the Sanpol Theater. \nThe story follows the adventures of a little rabbit who wants to get his home back. Other characters in the story include a goat\, an ox\, a dog\, a rooster\, and a little ant. \nThrough language full of sound and rhyme\, they all show us that even a tiny animal can come out on top against even the biggest of opponents. \nThe story addresses themes that are so important for children\, such as friendship\, appearances\, perseverance\, selfishness\, and courage—not just the courage to face any situation\, but also the courage needed to ask for help.

SUMMARY:Jugar con los límites
DESCRIPTION:In his later years\, Henri Matisse developed the technique of cut-out paper\, which he used to create many of his most famous and admired works. \nBut the discovery of this technique was partly driven by a limitation: during those years\, the artist was confined to bed or a wheelchair\, which led him to replace paints\, brushes\, canvases\, and solvents with sheets of paper that were already painted. \nThis seemingly accidental approach aligned with the artist’s constant quest to renew art. \nIn this workshop\, we’ll take Matisse’s lesson to heart to change the way we view art through exercises that take us beyond what is familiar and lead us to experiment with creation within new boundaries—opening the door to discoveries\, changes\, novelty… and surprise. \nIn this way\, we’ll discover the work of artists with different abilities who have advanced art and who help us understand why the arts—and the world—must be inclusive.

SUMMARY:Con un 6 y un 4
DESCRIPTION:In this family activity\, we’ll take a journey through human history via portraits—from their mythological origins to today’s selfies—through a presentation that blends art with theatrical performance. \nArchitect and public educator Miquel del Pozo\, accompanied by actress Casandra Lungu\, will explain in a visual and engaging way how and why we have portrayed ourselves throughout history: from Velázquez to Frida Kahlo\, with a stop along the way at Peter Pan.
