In this workshop, we will explore body percussion and, through it, concepts such as rhythm, coordination, lateral movement, attention, and teamwork. We will put together a small repertoire of folk music from different parts of the world, combining movement, singing, and body percussion.
Throughout the workshop, children and adults alike will enjoy listening to songs, poems, and rhymes drawn from the collective memory being read aloud, fostering the creation of a family bond that will support a playful and joyful introduction to reading.
