Paredes vivas. Construye tu jardín vertical
October 18 @ 11:00 - 12:00
€4
You’ve probably walked past the CaixaForum Madrid Vertical Garden, and some questions may have popped into your head… How can the plants survive? How does it work?
Come and discover how we’ve managed to keep more than 15,000 plants alive without soil on a vertical wall. And that’s not all—you’ll also be able to build your own vertical garden and take it home so you can care for a plant without soil, but with plenty of love.
The Vertical Garden at CaixaForum Madrid was the first of its kind installed in Spain and boasts the largest continuous surface area in the world; this impressive tapestry of greenery was designed by Patrick Blanc, a French botanist and the inventor of this technique, which he has used to create vertical gardens all over the world.
