El panadero y el diablo

September 20 @ 18:30 - 19:15

Free

In a quiet village, exactly 245 years ago, there lived a dedicated early-rising baker who kneaded bread every morning for all his neighbors: “not one less, not one more.” But one morning he encountered an unexpected visitor: the Devil himself.

What follows is a fun and wild adventure full of songs, chases, failed spells, and magical colorful tails (yes, tails!).

The Devil, hungry for bread and power, tries by any means necessary to take all the baker’s bread for himself. But what he doesn’t know is that our hero, armed only with his wits and the audience’s help, won’t make it easy for him.

“The Baker and the Devil” is an interactive show, full of humor, rhythm, and audience participation, bringing together in a single production a classic story by the renowned author Villafañe, techniques and routines from traditional Polichinelle puppetry, and the elegance of modern puppetry—all while conveying values for young children without sacrificing the classic slapstick humor.

And be careful—the puppets are the ones carrying the weapons.

For kids 4+.
