A true Christmas classic, Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker in an adaptation by the África Guzmán Dance Project in collaboration with the África Guzmán Ballet School: a company made up of young dancers from the Professional Program, who have the unique opportunity to train as versatile, multidisciplinary dancers focused on gaining professional and stage experience.

The show is set on Christmas Eve and tells the story of Clara, a little girl who receives a nutcracker as a gift. That night, the toy comes to life and transports her to a magical world where she faces the Mouse Queen and her army. After the battle, the Nutcracker, transformed into a prince, takes Clara to the Kingdom of Sweets, where she is welcomed with a feast of dances. The performance culminates in a dream that reflects the magic and fantasy of Christmas.
