Rita and Lucas are two friends who play—just like every day—amidst moments of frustration and camaraderie. Today they find three boxes of different sizes and colors that give them the chance to discover and explore the elements of the sea, the earth, and the air.

From the blue box emerge fish, octopuses, crabs, rocks, water, the lull of the waves, transparencies, bubbles, boats, sailors, and dreams of traveling even farther… From the green box springs the dialogue between the seed and the sun and rain, the visit of little worms and butterflies, and the plants’ need for water…. From the red box, the mischievous breeze scatters silk handkerchiefs, pieces of paper, and flying hats throughout the space… The passage of time brings nightfall, bedtime routines, lullabies, and a loving goodnight.

With fresh, minimalist language, songs, puppets, and physical theater, Rita and Lucas invite us to explore and care for our environment.
